« Every student is to carry his/her Identity Card for identification purposes.
« Each student should attend the classes in the prescribed uniform.
« A student is to maintain 80% attendance in all the subjects. If a student is short of attendance in one subject, he/she will be detained in the same class.
« Industrial visits to factories, mills, workshops are arranged from time to time. These educational trips/tours have great significance so it is mandatory for every student to be present on the day of industrial trip/tour.
« A disciplinary action will be taken against the student using unfair means in Sessional/University examination.
« All the students are to maintain a day to day record of their work and observations in the Practical Training Diary during practical training.
« The educatees' belligerent attitude is a reasonable ground to expel him/her from the institute.
« Drinking of alcohol is strictly banned. If a student is found in the state of intoxication, he/she will be expelled from the institute with immediate effect.
« Ragging is a crime and a punishable act. Any student found involved in this act, he/she will be suspended immediately.
« The students who involve themselves in fighting lose the right to be the students of the Institute.
« Involvement of a student in strike is an act of indiscipline.
« Instigating the peers is a punishable act.
« Rash driving on the campus is strictly prohibited.
« Institute Fee is to be paid well in time to avoid any inconvenience.
« No Student is permitted to leave the campus before prescribed time/without proper permission by the authorities of the Institute.
« Keeping inflammable items in the hostel is strictly prohibited.
« Providing accommodation to guests at the hostel rooms without the prior permission of the hostel warden is strictly prohibited. Anyone found doing so, shall be expelled from the hostel.
« Rash driving on the campus is strictly prohibited.
« Hostellers can register their complaints in the register kept at the hostel office.
« At the end of the academic year i.e. on the last day of the University Examination all the hostellers are required to hand over keys of rooms & almirahs to the warden. Those who fail to comply shall have to pay a fine of Rs. 500/- per week.
« All the hostellers must pay their hostel charges at the time of allotment of the hostel in the beginning of the session.
« Retention of pornographic movies/pictures/magazines is a strong ground for expulsion from the institute.
« Hostel charges are liable to change from time to time.
« Visitors are permitted to see their wards in the guest room only.
Anti Ragging
RAGGING is an out-right "HUMAN RIGHT ABUSE IN ESSENCE"
The following may constitute as a part and parcel of ragging:
« Addressing a colleague student as "SIR"
« Forcing the junior colleague to serve snacks or meals under duress.
« Making juniors to forcefully sing a song, running in the ground, abuse other colleague etc.
« To unrest the students and force him/her to display physical feats with or
« without the presence of the students.
« Forcefully asking the junior colleague to obey the command of the seniors
« To pose as a Joker amongst the gathering of the colleagues.
« Making the junior bereft of the attending/studying in the class or stopping him/her for taking meals.
« To harass or cut jokes under duress.
« Any other abnormality taking away the liberty on any student can be termed as an act of RAGGING
Stringent action can be taken including filing of Criminal Cases against the errant students.
« RAGGING IS AN EVIL EQUATED BY THE HON'BLE SUPREME COURT AS A CRIMINAL ACT.
